A mix of user fees and property taxes help to keep community services affordable for our residents, such as swimming lessons, camps, fitness memberships, ice and sports field rentals. To ensure that these funding sources are properly balanced, the Town is undertaking a review of how its sets rates and fees for community services including facility rentals and programs. Part of the Study includes a fee assistance program for Aurora residents who may not be able to afford to participate in recreation.

In order to establish a pricing structure that is meaningful and reflects Aurora’s unique demographic and socio-economic characteristics
